Advanced Electrolysis for Benign Skin Lesions

in Ely, Cambridge

Clearer Skin. Greater Confidence.

You may have a skin lesion that’s been bothering you for years.

Perhaps it catches on clothing. Perhaps it’s become more noticeable over time. Or perhaps you simply feel self-conscious about it.

Most benign skin lesions are completely harmless. But that doesn’t mean you have to live with them.

Advanced electrolysis offers a safe and precise way to reduce or remove a wide range of benign skin lesions, helping to restore smoother, clearer skin and providing renewed confidence.

You’re in Safe, Experienced Hands

I understand that choosing to have a lesion treated can feel like a big step.

For some people, it’s something they’ve been thinking about for years.

I have been practising advanced electrolysis for over 35 years and have treated many thousands of benign skin lesions during that time. In 2025, I was honoured to be named Electrologist of the Year and Specialist Therapist of the Year in recognition of the experience and clinical standards I bring to my work. And I also teach other practitioners how to carry out advanced electrolysis safely and confidently.

I have over 40 5 star Google reviews.

But what matters most to me is that you feel comfortable, informed and never rushed. Every appointment allows time for careful assessment and thoughtful treatment planning. I work conservatively and precisely, always with your long-term skin health in mind.

How Advanced Electrolysis Works

Advanced electrolysis uses short wave diathermy, a gentle, controlled form of heat, to precisely cauterise or coagulate the lesion.

Using a very fine, sterile probe, I target only the blemish, leaving the surrounding skin untouched.

The exact technique depends on the type of blemish and your skin’s individual needs. Together we’ll create a personalised treatment plan.

You may feel a brief warm sensation during treatment, but it is generally very well tolerated.

After treatment, a small scab will form. This naturally falls away within 7–14 days, revealing smoother, clearer skin beneath.

With the correct aftercare, results are long-lasting.

Your comfort and safety are always my top priority. Every treatment is planned carefully so you feel confident, cared for, and achieve the best possible results.

The experience I had with Natalie was amazing. Went with a nasty looking wart on my face and she removed it in one session. A few weeks later you can hardly see where it was. I would recommend Natalie to anyone with a skin condition. She is a very caring and kind person. (Fully deserves the awards she has won)

Your First Step to Clearer Skin

Your first step to clearer skin is a professional and thorough consultation to ensure your treatment is safe, suitable and tailored to your needs.

During your consultation:

I will carefully assess your lesion to confirm what it is and check that it is appropriate for treatment

We will discuss the treatment process, what it will feel like and any concerns or questions you may have

I will explain downtime and home care requirements

We will review relevant medical details

I will take pre-treatment photographs

We will also make sure the timing of your treatment works for you, considering any upcoming events or travel plans, as some healing time is required.

If there is any uncertainty about a lesion, I can use remote dermatology, sending information and dermatoscope images to a consultant dermatologist for review (usually within 48–72 hours). This ensures you can proceed with confidence but, given there is a separate cost, is only used where necessary.

Consultation fee: £75
(Redeemable against treatment if booked on the same day)

Remote dermatology: £200
(If used, the consultation fee is waived)

If you book a treatment appointment online, your consultation is automatically included.

Pricing

Advanced electrolysis is detailed, careful work. Pricing reflects the time, expertise and attention needed to achieve safe and effective results.

Aftercare guidance

Any products required to support healing

Before booking your consultation, please consider what type of blemish you may have. The sections below outline common lesion types along with guide pricing.

Your exact treatment plan and price will always be confirmed at your consultation, so there are no surprises.

What to Expect After Treatment

After treatment, the area may feel slightly sensitive or look a little red. This is completely normal.

Over the next few days a small scab will form over the treated area and will naturally fall away within 7–14 days.

Aftercare will be explained clearly at your appointment and emailed to you. Any products required to support healing will be provided.

A review appointment will be arranged at a time convenient for you — usually around six weeks later. At this review we will decide together whether any further treatment is required. If no further treatment is needed, there is no charge for this review.

I have been looking for years for someone that would be able to help with my Xanthelasma, because I had had them for years. I started to give up but then I found Natalie's page and I booked into see her.

The treatment itself for me wasn't painful but everything was explained to me before anything was done. The aftercare was explained well and I was booked in for a month later follow up. Let me just say I am so thankful to have someone like Natalie that realises things like Xanthelasma and other issues people suffer with can really affect a person.

You have given me so much more confidence and if they ever come back at least I know where you are now. Thank you once again for making me like looking in the mirror and at my eyes.

I came to see Natalie for help with removing some stubborn veruccas. I had various treatments which all haven’t worked but after just 2 sessions they’ve almost all gone! Natalie talked me through the whole process and I felt very comfortable and happy with the procedure.

Would highly recommend.
